Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says the players must take responsibility for the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho was axed on Monday just days before their Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.
Lloris said, “Should we take responsibility as players for Jose’s dismissal? Yes, of course. The situation doesn’t change my respect for José. He’s a great football man.
“He has demonstrated it in the past and for sure he will prove it in the future. I’m just sorry that it didn’t work as we would have liked at Spurs.
“Obviously we have to share the responsibilities among everyone. Especially us players, because we are the main players.”
