Member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has assured the people of Idanre that plans are already in place to ensure accelerated development of Idanre town. Adefisoye gave this assurance on Saturday at the 2019 Idanre Day Celebration in his capacity as the Chairman of the occasion.
The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army appreciated the good people of Idanre for the opportunity given him to represent the constituency. Adefisoye said that he could not have become the Deputy Chairman on Army without the support given to me by the people of Idanre and Ifedore before, during and after the electioneering campaign.
In his speech at the occasion, Adefisoye preached for unity amongst the indigenes of Idanre so as to bring developments to the ancient town. He said “It is important to point out that all the sons and daughters of Idanre need to unite in order to bring development to our town, now that the elections are over. We must also ensure that any Idanre person that wants to contest for any exalted political political office should be given support. This is about the best way we can attract developments to Idanre. Towns like Ondo and Owo are towns did witness developments through the support given to their sons when they contested for governorship”.
He also informed the people of Idanre that a strategic road in the town would be constructed by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) next year. Adefisoye, therefore, urged the people of Idanre to always pray for the House Committee Chairman on NDDC, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo whom he said had assured him of the road construction. “I want us to realize that development is not a magic that comes from the blues.
It requires planning, commitment, painstaking and concerted efforts. It is my belief that all stakeholders will henceforth do the needful and ensure that assigned responsibilities are synergistically carried out so that the anticipated developments could be achieved and witnessed by all”, added Adefisoye.
