Hon. Adefisoye, @SmallAlhaji_ To Represent National Assembly In All African Games

Member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has jetted out to Rabat, Morocco as one of the leaders of Nigerian contingent to the 12th All African Games.

Rabat, Morocco are Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, the House Committee Chairman on Sports, Hon. Olumide Osoba, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye and Hon. Hon. Abdulahi Sa’ad Abdulkadir.

The Nigerian contingent arrived Morocco last week Thursday and the althletes have since been training hard ahead of the games opening ceremonies on Monday, August 19 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Speaking with reporters on arrival in Rabat, Hon. Adefisoye assured that
the needful would be done by the National Assembly delegation to ensure that the contingent represent Nigeria well at the games.

He said: ” It is a privilege for me to have been nominated by the Rt. Hon. Speaker to be one of the leaders of Nigerian contingent
to the 12th All African Games taking place here in Rabat. My major focus is to ensure that all our athletes are well motivated to give their best and do Nigeria proud during the games”.

” Our collective focus since we arrived Rabat is to bring out the very best from our athletes and put them in the best frame of mind. We are not leaving any stone unturned in our quest to ensure that the athletes do the nation proud. I can assure that our athletes are in very high spirit and much determined to win as many gold medals as possible for the country”.

The 12th African Games taking place in Rabat, Morocco is expected to be declared open by King Mohammed (VI) on August 19 while the closing ceremonies are to take place on August 31.

It will be recalled that this is the first time that the All African Games will be hosted by Morocco after the North African country was readmitted into the African Union .
