Nigerians are again protesting against the continuous extortion and brutality by Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) with #ENDSARS.
#ENDSARS is now being campaigned for by Nigerians who took to their social media pages to share their fears, experiences of extortion and brutality by the Nigeria’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
This movement this time was fueled by the experience of a software engineer who shared his recent experience of being extorted by the officials of SARS who were armed when he was abducted, allegedly pointed a gun at him, beat him up and locked him up after he was unable to pay the N1 Million demanded from him.

You call them Special Anti-Robbery Squad, but in reality they are Retired Armed Robbers.
They humiliate Nigerian youths because they have that black shirt on.#EndSARS

Male foreign students have a common fear of wondering what will happen if they go back home … the passive fear of facing harassments because of how you look or gadgets you own . This is unfortunate and unfair , Home is supposed to be where you find solace . #EndSARS

The pain i feel knowing i can't walk out some street of Nigeria with peace of mind is unbearable because obviously I'm either a yahoo boy, a cultist or an arm robber even when I'm legit asf.
I keep hiding like i am wanted because of my looks.
This is so depressing 😔#EndSARS

If I see anybody tweet about Free Tacha or any useless Tacha anything I'll gladly block the person. We got serious issues to face like #EndSARS let us have sense in this country please.

Something has to be done about this SARS issue, I’m scared to carry my laptop or Smartphones anyhow nowadays because of Daylight Thieves dressed in Police uniforms. #EndSARS

You try to be big brother to Naija youth but they prefer #BigBrotherNaija. You trend #EndSARS to protect them, although SARS will never harass you the way they harass them, but they prefer to trend #ReleaseTacha. As many parents often ask, “At what point exactly did I go wrong?”
